The “Digitization of Constructing” is currently one of the central issues in the construction industry. Continued networking of planning, execution, management, and demolition in this industry is being fostered on all levels. One of the most important instruments in this context is the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) where the planner in charge of a given project will collect and merge the entire body of available information as early as possible in order to effectively and sensibly integrate this data into his project model. The model will then include aspects of utilization just the same as construction components and material data.
