Nowadays a building pit can be excavated and cast in concrete even in the winter months if the weather is good. Usually only a few precautions are necessary on winter building sites at temperatures above 5 °C. However, things get more complicated if temperatures fall further. In particular sealing work then often has to be left until the coming spring. Thanks to modern products, however, work can now also proceed in the cold season.
