The prefabrication method has been applied to bridge construction with great success and has provided solutions that are both structurally sound and construction wise, very practical and low cost. Fanta Real S.A. produces a compete series of specialized products in accordance with the type and span of the bridge. These products are mainly composite beams or prestressed concrete beams. The spans that can be covered with the systems can be as long as 100 m. Special design solutions can be employed for longer spans. A significant characteristic of the Arculys beam is its flexible shape, thus architects are unlimitedly allowed to express themselves and to design bridges with respect to the environment.
