The Excluton company of Druten is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete products for garden and landscape construction in the Netherlands. In order to be able to cope with the great demand on the part of its customers, the company has a total of eight production lines in use, some of which produce in three-shift operation. One of these plants is a slab-making plant with a hermetic rotary table press, which was installed in 2012. This plant was specially designed for the production of Excluton's Mondo-X large slab collection and also has a finishing line on the dry side. Although the plant manufactures slabs of very high quality measuring up to 100 x 100 cm, there were initially problems with the curing of the fresh slabs. Many things were tested in order to eliminate this problem. Ultimately it was a concrete curing system from Curetec that provided the remedy.
