It is recognized that the use of BIM in design and construction is evolving. As we could observe in the first part of this article, published in CPI, issue 1/2017, increasing introduction of BIM methodology should be an excellent opportunity to precast concrete industry to its definitive consolidation on the upcoming construction. We now review the main differences of industrialization against on site construction processes in a BIM approach, look some experience of precast concrete construction projects based on BIM and review the current situation of precast concrete products on BIM libraries.
