Trade Journals for the Concrete Industry

The next fib Symposium will take place in Maastricht, the city where the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany meet and where 25 years ago the Treaty on the European Union was signed. The symposia of fib (The International Federation for Structural Concrete) are excellent events to exchange knowledge on the latest international developments in concrete and concrete structures. Those of you familiar with it know that this holds true especially for scientists, whereas participation of practise and students is rather limited. Even more, you are only allowed to give a presentation, if your scientific paper is accepted after peer review. But Maastricht fib Symposium goes further and possibly sets new standards for such events. Let me explain how.
