A citizen of Austria, he is currently causing a great stir with his Korbwand® development. This innovative businessman with his team has managed to develop and manufacture a fully automated system for producing reinforcement cages for steel reinforced concrete com- ponents. This system can produce reinforcement cages entirely individually and in lot size 1. Reinforcement cages produced in this way also score points on account of their structural finesses. These generate savings of up to two kilograms of steel per square metre of double wall, up to 90 per cent of the plastic parts and, at the same time, save a great deal of energy by eliminating welding work.
