Around the year 2000 the Marshalls Group in the United Kingdom began a strong relationship with Wasa AG in Germany and a 6 year pro- gramme to purchase a large number of Wasa Uniplast boards. Many of these boards are still in use in their plants today. There were many considerations in undertaking such a large investment but the primary features for Marshalls were the very good vibration transmission and the consistency of the vibration energy over many years, as plastic does not age.
