Moldtech has delivered a substantial amount of moulds for B.G. Shirke, an Indian leading construction company involved in large residential projects using precast elements. Founded in 1944, B.G. Shirke employs more than 12.000 workers and was one of the first companies to introduce precast construction in India some 30 years ago. B.G. Shirke developed over the years its own construction systems using a variety of precast elements such as hollow core columns, beams, panels, staircases etc. to achieve the construction of precast residential buildings of up to 25 stories with high safety standards and fast construction execution times. Today, the company is involved in major urban residential development projects in India; many of them are government promoted projects for affordable housing.
