… stand In the context of a co-operation research project, the building envelope of a machine factory is being built from fully-mineral cementitious precast concrete elements. The interior and exterior structural elements are thermally activated and provide for a cosy room temperature through thermal interaction between the building envelope, the production hall and offices, the energy accumulators and the environment. The mode of operation of the UHPC shells, which are thermally activated with capillary tube mats, is tested on an open-air weathering test stand. The initial results are presented in the following article.
