… term dialogue with decision makers in Brussels The official appointment of Donald Tusk (PL) as President of the European Council on 1st December 2014 was the last step towards the formation of the European governing bodies for the next 5 years. This followed indeed the election of the European Parliament in May 2014 and the establishment of the Junker Commission in November of the same year. The executive body (the European Commission) and the two co-legislative ones (the Parliament and the Council) are now ready for driving Europe out of the crisis that is affecting our continent since 2008. Or at least this is what 500 million citizens are hoping for.
