… construction Experience shows that on modern building sites, particularly in the case of sophisticated projects, the “naturalistic plans” of the planners have to be considered. This means, for example, connections of concrete structures to garden construction elements such as natural roof overhangs, ponds, pools, etc., which must be connected to one another absolutely waterproof in the sense of a component seal. Of course, natural materials such as pebbles or sand as well as the influences of the weather such as extreme heat, cold and permanent moisture may not have any detrimental effects on either the concrete structure or the sealing solution. This requirement applies not only at the time of the realisation of the building, but permanently – ideally over the entire lifetime of a building. The quality of the implementation thus depends entirely on the application experience of the building contractors and the correct choice of sealing solution.
