As CAD software vendors, we must emphasize once again – Building Information Modelling is not software, but a working method with defined process chains. BIM improves communication between project participants and organizes a central repository of all data throughout the building lifecycle. Modern construction software must support the BIM process in order to ensure that all project participants are able to implement current state of the art BIM. However, BIM also changes work processes. This is particularly evident if you look at previous project planning processes.
