Just one year ago the American Concrete Institute celebrated its one-hundredth anniversary, and this year the Institute is celebrating the twentyfifth anniversary of its certification program. Approved for implementation in 1980, the goal of the program was and still is, to improve the quality of concrete construction. Today, over 250,000 individuals in 44 countries have been certified by the American Concrete Institute.
