On June 8th to 9th 2005, the European Coal Combustion Products Association held a two-day conference in Brussels entitled ”Coal Combustion Products in Europe – Sustainable Materials for the Future”. More than 90 participants from a wide range of industry sectors and from 21 countries took part. Topics included measures to further increase the utilisation of CCPs as part of Clean Coal Technology and the potential implications of European regulations such as the forthcoming revision of the Waste Framework Directive.
