For 50 years, Pfeifer has been serially producing lifting anchors for precast. The origins of the thread system lie in the development of the Pfeifer anchor sleeve and lifting loop, which in the 60s was one of the first suitable lifting systems to offer the user a standardized and secure way to transport precast elements. Until that time, the lifting solutions used were almost exclusively hand-made from wire rope or remnants of reinforcing steel and were not always entirely suitable for the purpose.
