In 2002, NCMA took a major step towards more effective strategic planning, program implementation, and project evaluation using strategic mapping, which is an intelligence gathering process. The purpose of the effort was to learn and understand, definitively, what’s going on in the minds of internal and external target audiences about NCMA member-manufactured products, and to respond appropriately.
