“Who doesn’t want to look into the future to find out what’s going to happen?” The 18th BIBM congress for the international concrete and prefabrication industry, taking place in Amsterdam from 11 to 14 May 2005, has a motto that fits in with the spirit of the age: We all want to know what will happen next! And anyone who knows the Dutch mentality, shaped by commerce and accustomed to success, realises that it will not just be about looking around and meeting up, but will be about the market how the market will look in the future. Rupert Kroemer, President of the International Concrete Editors Association, spoke on behalf of CPI with the President of the BIBM, Wim Zandbergen, a successful businessman in the Dutch Excluton Group, a company that plays in the Champions League of the world’s concrete paving stone industry.
