The European Federation for Precast Concrete (BIBM) organized in the past every three years an international congress in different coun- tries, always associated to the origin of the president who was elected for a three years period. When Patrick Declerck from Belgium took over the BIBM presidency in 2011, it was decided that this procedure should change. For the first time, this change of organization will take place from May 21-23, 2014, when the BIBM Congress 2014 will be organized in Istanbul, Turkey. The professional organizer of this event will be CPI Concrete Plant International, having experiences with their ICCX events throughout the world, together with local support of the Turkish Precast Association.
