BIM processes are being used increasingly in the building industry. An ever increasing number of architects, building owners and building contractors now recognise the advantages of this planning method. There are already countries that require a BIM process to have been completed before awarding public and state contracts to private building contractors. The Revit software from the Autodesk company is play- ing a decisive role in this development. Autodesk Revit has been used for most of the worldwide building projects that have been planned using a fully comprehensible BIM method.
