Shortly after the turn of the millennium, Finke Dosiertechnik was the first manufacturer to develop one single powder dosage system with pneumatic conveying for the production of ready-mixed mortar, concrete products and precast concrete. The first units were installed in 2003-2004. With continuous development, the "Universal System" reached its production stage in 2005. In early 2005, four systems were installed in different facilities belonging to the Betonwerk Lintel group to produce high quality concrete products. In the same year, the Universal System was officially launched at Big 5 in Dubai, after which the company was awarded the Innovation Award for Suppliers of Concrete Components for its Universal System a year later. The patent for the system was filed in 2003 and to date equivalent patents have been granted in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
