The Roanoke Concrete Products Company has been a leader in the concrete ready mix and concrete block industry for over 52 years with four ready-mix operations and two block plants in the Central Illinois area. In 1998, Mr. Jerry Hodel, the company's owner, built a new state of the art concrete block plant in Central Illinois to serve the Peoria, Illinois, area. Fully automated with a Besser Ultrapac (four-at-a-time) block machine, a LSC-40 transfer car that transports the products to and from the curing room, and fully automated Besser loader/unloader, cuber and accessories, this new plant is the second one Hodel built in the Illinois area.
