When designing the structural detail of prefabricated structures in earthquake zones, special care must be taken when designing the connections. Nemetschek has designed connection details with the appropriate reinforcement layout jointly with the customer. The details are adjusted to double walls and slabs; the reinforcement for this is parametised. With the new Allplan Sandwich Wall module, editing the structural design of a facade and each individual element is also simplified by using a new methodology and functionality.
