The new concept enables the decoupling of pallet size and work place and thus creates the possibility of fulfilling the industry’s demands for more performance. Together with the conversion to continuous production technology, other parts of the plant such as, for example, the demoulding area must also be redesigned in order to be able to utilise all of the advantages of the new technology to the full. Improvements in productivity can be achieved when optimising existing plants with comparatively less interference with the structure of the plant. This is insofar meaningful in that recognised bottlenecks in existing plants can be eliminated.
