S.I.3 – Société Intercontinentale, Immobilière et Industrielle – is one of the largest producers of building materials in the Marrakech and Agadir region. S.I.3 operates several block forming plants, crushing plants, and ready-mix concrete plants. The Moroccan concrete pipe market used to be dominated by 4 large groups. In the past, all leading customers and consultants had mainly used spun concrete pipes for sewerage applications in Morocco. At the start of new century, the founder and owner of S.I.3, M. Houssin El Mourabit, decided to enter the concrete pipe market.
