Several investigations, which were carried out as joint initiatives by the Dutch precast concrete part manufacturers, have provided a good overview of self-compacting concrete (SCC). However, some questions still have to be answered. Since the development of SCC in the Netherlands, an expert group has been carrying out research and supporting the use of SCC. Experiences are gathered and recorded in order to accelerate the development of SCC. The examination of the shear force capacity of SCC, which was manufactured in two construction steps, is an example of this.
