Up to now it has not been possible to quantitatively measure and describe mixing processes. Concrete standards require a mixing process to continue until the mixture appears homogeneous. When manufacturing simple concretes in readymixed concrete plants, an approximate uniformity is ensured based on experience. When new concretes are developed, it is not possible to resort to experience values.
