In some regions on the earth the climatic conditions are very extreme and therefore make the production of good quality concrete very difficult. Cooling of the concrete is necessary in order to guarantee concrete quality, when the outside temperature goes above 35°C. Two cooling methods have been used to date. Either ambient air is sucked in and then sprayed with nitrogen and blown into the aggregate silos, or the ice flake solution which is most common in hot regions is used. However both methods require additional cooling of the water used, otherwise the required values cannot be reached.
