SCC Ltd and Hill Cannon have had a relationship involved in building multi-storey car parks stretching back some 35 years. In the 70s/early 80s, most of the car parks in the UK were being built in in-situ concrete. Though this offered economy and flexibility, developments started towards the ‘fast tracking’ approach demanded by increasingly restricted sites placing a premium on minimising time on site. Skills shortages within the industry and increasingly health and safety requirements also required solutions to minimise on site labour
