Two years ago, Bibko Umwelttechnik und Beratung GmbH from Beilstein developed a recycling concept for the precast plant in Herrljunga in Sweden together with its customer AB Strängbetong. Part of this concept is also the treatment of the accumulated residual water. In order to achieve a closed material flow, the concrete slurry that collects during this process is used in the recipes for self-compacting concrete SCC). The experiences gained from this are positive throughout, both with respect to the concrete end products and with respect to the economical side of the investment.
