Late in the summer of 2007 Oldcastle Precast, Colle S.p.A. and New Hampton Metal Fabrication installed and commissioned a facility for the production of concrete pipe and manhole products. The operation is located in the panhandle of Florida near the city of Marianna. The manufacture of the pipe, manhole risers and cones is achieved on the Colle Vibromatic Series 3000 machine in the dry cast side of the newly constructed production building. Other monolithic and specialty structures are manufactured in the wet cast side of the building using wet cast and SCC mix designs. The machinery and equipment decisions were made to create a new level of quality product for the area’s markets.
