First unveiled at the March 2011 ICON & CONEXPO-CON/AGG Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A., a prototype blocRoc™ mold generated considerable interest from across the spectrum of industry participants, with many producers eager for the technology to become commercially available. While possessing many favorable attributes the system is particularly attractive due to its unique ability to produce more than one surface texture sequentially from a single cavity. The Rampf booth was a hub of activity, with many questions and, not surprisingly, suggestions as to the potential applications of the system.
