Hybrid stone is a high-tech material based on ultra high performance concrete (UHPC). Hybrid stone was developed to production maturity at the University of Kassel and patented in several variants. "Hybrid stone based on UHPC makes it possible to produce durable, highload capacity and particularly delicate structures such as filigree constructions at low cost," says architect and engineer Peter Ignaz Kirsten, who, as the developer of hybrid stone, is pivotally involved and now leads Hybridstein GmbH as the Managing Partner.
