The Mining and Quarry Employer’s Liability Insurance Association (Steinbruchs-Berufsgenossenschaft) presented the prizes to the winners of this year’s Work – Health – Safety Award on 27 March 2009 at the gallery of the Herrenhäuser Gärten in Hanover in front of around 300 guests from politics, industry and society. This is already the twelfth time that ideas for health and safety at work have been rewarded. The juries had a difficult task once again this year in choosing the winners from the high quality entries.
