The Vollmann company of Leibnitz has been in existence for over 100 years and the family business is now led by the 4th and 5th generation. In addition to the business sectors of civil engineering and underground construction as well as the manufacture of concrete precast elements and asphalt, the production of ready-mix concrete is also one of the key areas of the company. Approximately 300 employees work at the sites in Styria and Burgenland under the management of Mr Franz Vollmann. A further foothold is being is being set up in the neigh - bouring EU country of Hungary; this was also one of the reasons for investing in the mobile concrete production plant.
