This year’s 11th Iran ConMin, the international trade fair for construction, mining and natural stone, was held in Teheran from 17 – 20th October 2015. It took place at a memorable point in time. On Sunday, 18th October 2015, the nuclear power agreement came into force. This had been endorsed by the UN Security Council on 20th July 2015 after the highest political bodies in Iran (Parliament/Guardian Council) and the USA (US Congress/Senate) had passed the agreement. The first phase of the gradual dismantling of sanctions against Iran began on this so- called “Adoption Day”. All obstacles, in particular for bank activities, financial transfers and insurance, will be removed from the beginning of the 2016.
