The digital age and the general fast pace of living in modern society have had an impact on people’s expectations. The demands placed on shaping our immediate environment, as regards living space and conditions, have grown as well. A life-changing event should no longer be felt as one of the main tasks in life but, like other modern services, should take place as promptly as possible. This situation is affecting the construction industry more and more and makes “off the shelf” prefabricated homes with lengthier construction times seem increasingly unattractive. A strong trend has been observed towards a demand for building projects, which are totally turnkey - but carried out accord- ing to the individual desires of the contracting party – and all this, of course, within just two or three weeks’ time.
