On 25 June 2013, over 100 professionals of the precast concrete industry from all over China attended a conference to promote the industrialization of the building industry. The organizers, the Shanghai building authority (Shanghai Municipal Commission of Urban-Rural Construction and Transport) in collaboration with the building industry research institute (Shanghai Research Institution of Building Science) put together an interesting and packed programme, covering a wide range of different aspects of the subject matter.
