The annual study trips to Europe offered by the Precast/Prestressed Institute, Chicago, USA to its members are one of the highlights in the insti-tute's calendar of events. After Belgium as the last destination, this year the north of Italy – the district of Verona was the starting point for the tours – the programme included 6 precast con-crete plants, an engineering manufacturer and an aggregate producer.
