Besser GmbH has been bought out of insolvency by Weets. This was recently announced by the company. The takeover fits well with the expansion of their mechanical and speciality engineering division. Weets is engaged in developing special machines, tooling and other systems with a partner company for well-known major customers. These projects include a fully automated multi-storey car park, which is currently undergoing trials in Emden. The future Omag Service GmbH will concentrate primarily on the traditional field of expertise of the original Omag. Opportunities for development are foreseen in the mechanical and speciality engineering segment. The premises in Emden will continue to be used.
