In summer 2012 the course was initially set for the use of a newly developed mixing plant of the type GlobalConcrete 190 and a versatile Würschum powder dosing plant of the type Flex in a large Ammann project in China. The end customer’s requirement was a highly univer- sal powder dosing unit that can process colour pigments both in powder form and as granulates and compact pigments. Beyond that, it also had to be possible to use microsilica and similar powdery materials. A further requirement was to increase the desired amounts from the usual batch size of 25 kg to twice as much. In addition, the use of different big bags and paper sacks was not to be a problem.
