If unusual buildings with spherically shaped concrete hulls are to be erected, it doesn't take long to reach the economic limits. The high expenditure for formwork due to free forms, different edge cuts and the low degree of repetition drives up the costs to a not inconsiderable size. Therefore, there is an urgent need for design and manufacturing solutions that will allow the economical production of such components.
